Where is the liberal SCOTUS justice who slowly morphed into arch-conservative?

Where is the liberal SCOTUS justice who slowly morphed into arch-conservative while serving on the federal bench?  This is a question I’ve had for a long time, and I heard Mark Levin ask it again a couple of days ago.  When liberals are appointed to the bench, they start hard-line leftist, rule that way, and stay that way.  There is no chance whatsover that somebody like a Ginsburg would ever morph into an advocate for plain language and strict construction, limited government with few and enumerated powers, and so on.

Yet time after time we see conservatives get appointed to the bench and then turn activist, voting for tyranny and unlimited government as Judge Roberts did, totally ignoring the language of the Constitution, co-opting the court system into an implement of political destruction.

For example, if ObamaCare is a tax as he claimed, then why wasn’t the constitutional requirement enforced which says revenue bills must originate in the House of Representatives?  ObamaCare originated in the Senate… so, should not Roberts have said, “The ACA would have been permissible as a tax if it had originated in the House.  But since it’s a tax bill originating in the Senate, it violates the clear statements in the Constitution.”

But Roberts didn’t do that.  The proper authority of the House means nothing to him.  As with Mr. Obama, the Constitution is now nothing more than an impediment to be reasoned around with casuistry as thin and flimsy as necessary to get the desired result.

The end result, which will mean nothing to a Judge Roberts, as that his ruling went further left than perhaps any SCOTUS ruling in history, extending to the government the right to do anything it pleases so long as a legal fiction can be created that it’s a tax.  I doubt that was Roberts’ intent.  But that was the effect.
