Wilson on the origins of the public college system

Doug Wilson at Blog and Mablog is one of the few internet pontificators that I read just about every day.  His most recent post on education is excellent because, as usual, he starts his analysis from the assumption that Jesus is Lord over all, and that Christians in every arena of life ought to act like they believe that.  This is particularly true of education where we teach people not just how to make a living, but how to live.  The money quote, “But before we think about getting a job, we need to train the next generation how to get a life.”  Read his short but superb post here.
